Well, I'll be damned. Just saw an 18 year old kid claim he's "seen it all" in the world. He's still in high school and is bitter he can't get a girlfriend. To make it better, he claims women are solely interested in money, sex and "getting what they want" and that they aren't interested in enjoying another person's company. As a woman I can honestly say, there's a reason Mr. Mature doesn't have a girlfriend.
These boys who think they're the pinnacle of being the "nice guy who finishes last" always suffer from the same disease. The "I'm actually a hugely arrogant cunt who passes off as being the nice guy and think I'm better than every other guy" disease. It's not attractive. Sorry to tell you buddy.
These same guys always have a knack for writing the creepiest stalker-"poetry" ever seen about lost loves and obsessive thoughts over beautiful brunette hair. They also love to add in the occasional "wimminz is sewwww complicated i h8s dem all" pieces to their little dA galleries.
Fuck, if they don't like you, it's obviously something wrong with THEM every time right? You're God's gift to women damnit and they should done respect it! Women dey bes playas ya know what I meen?
Now, if they only think about money and sex and getting what they want, this guy definitely has nothing going for him... so I guess, he's right on that respect.
Seriously, all high school boys who happen to pass by here: You have not "seen it all", you will not "see it all" as long as you live. Grade 12 does not equal Wisdom of the Universe. Oh and if you think you've "seen it all" and you are the pinnacle of charming gentlemen, the lord of men, the king of the country, well let me tell you, no, you're not. You're none of those things. You're a teenage boy, still in high school. The world's women don't end with the teenage girls who live the next busstop over. Open your eyes.

I had a genuine Nice Guy buddy. He was kind and humble and just genuinely nice. Problem was, he was terminally shy. He'd pine for a girl only to freak out and stammer incoherently whenever said girl tried to talk to him. I had another friend who was a Genuine Scoundrel. The charming delinquent who always managed to get us all in trouble. He never lacked for female companionship but could never KEEP a girl by his side. I also had a friend like the fellow you mention above.
Now, as the Goofy Friend, I spent a TON of time talking to the women involved with these guys. I guess I was the "safe" one since I was the funny one. All I know is I always had a girlfriend or female companionship when I wanted it.
I tried telling my friends this but none them seemed to grasp the concept of "Chill". To this day the Genuine Scoundrel can't keep a steady relationship.

Nowadays I think I fit somewhere into each of those categories.
But yes, I can attest that the chill type of guy is more likely to get the girl than the one who bemoans how amazing he is and how they never see it.
This guy also told me to "silence".
I've had LOTS of friends like this guy, most of my buddies actually. I also happened to be the "safe" one but being a girl, these kinds of boys latched onto me, even when I was taken.

What does an 18 year old boy know about women?
Absolutely nothing.
The day you stop looking at 'women' with opinions,stereotypes and criticisms...and begin to look at women ( or men, heck anybody, everybody) as a person, an individual and treat them with respect...well, Mr. Worldly, you just might learn something after all. You might think that you've 'heard it all' but wisdom comes from 'listening'.....
High school seemed like one great popularity contest. I hung out with certain people for a while, until I hung out with others...I always thought that those who were most outspoken about 'how great they were', those were the ones who spent the least amount of time 'showing you how great they are.'
